Indian tribal property

Indian tribal property
Property in which an Indian tribe has a legally enforceable interest. Such term refers to real property, the title to which is vested in United States but held in trust for the Indian tribe. Such property, depending on context in which the term is used, may or may not be "public property" of the United States. Chief Seattle Properties, Inc. v.
